Otter Lake Environmental Report 2019

November 2, 2019 by Kerry Mueller

In addition to initializing a Benthos Monitoring program in 2019, OLRA commissioned the GBBR to create this comprehensive Environmental Report.

Executive Summary:

The purpose of this environmental report prepared by the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve (GBBR) for the Otter Lake Ratepayers’ Association (OLRA) is to provide residents and cottagers with one report summarizing water quality and fish community monitoring data for Otter Lake and Little Otter Lake. In addition, the report provides recommendations for further monitoring as well as possible stewardship activities. The report is divided into three sections to reflect this purpose – water quality, fish communities, and recommendations.
